Make Your Website Interactive

There are some Interactive Tools that you definitely want on your website.

• Refer a Friend
If you have current patients or customers visit your website – and they will – wouldn’t you want to make it easy for them to simply drop an email note to a friend or relative telling them that you are the greatest at what you do? A “Refer a Friend” online form can make that a snap. Plus, if you do some of the things I recommend in my book to motivate people to take this action, you will see your patient or client referrals jump.

• Request an Appointment
Whether it’s a visiting patient or client, or a brand new prospect who is ready to take the plunge, you can’t count on them looking at your site during your business hours. Give them a way to ask that someone from your office contact them about setting a date and time.

• Ask the Doctor
This is kind of a sneaky way of getting your email out on your website without email harvesting ‘bots gathering it up so you get a thousand more spam emails next week. Hide the email under the title, “Ask the Doctor” or “ask the Attorney” or whatever is appropriate. That way, patients, clients or prospects can ask you a direct question when they need to.

• Subscribe To E-Newsletter
In the world of online response marketing, building your list of prospects and customers is a key factor. Surprisingly enough, a lot of marketers just never ask if you want to get on their mailing list. The other surprising thing to me is how many people actually DO want to be on your list.

• “I Want More Info”
Here is a non-threatening way for visitors to ask you for information from your dental practice. We collect their email, telephone number and mailing address. Visitors simply select from a drop-down menu or type in their specific question. Of course, we suggest always calling any person who takes the time to request information from you. They are a “hot” prospect.
