eMarketing
What is eMarketing's Value to Your Practice?

Email and Internet marketing has not changed everything. They have, however, made it possible for the marketer to engage the audience more fully. Radio and TV commercials are fleeting. Print marketing is static. Both examples limit the experience for their respective audiences. eMarketing can completely enlighten the audience about your brand. This article will reveal how it can effectively build awareness for your practice brand, what it won't be able to do and why you must start utilizing it in your practice-building repertoire.

Presentation Folders

It is often said that, “Your patients are your best source of new patients.” Not only is that still very valid, it is an understatement. Of course, your current patients will recommend you to their friends and family. However, what exactly are they saying? Are they still saying, “You should see my doctor. He’s nice.”? That is not enough anymore. You need to turn your patients into powerful marketing tools for you and your practice.

Patients will be much more effective at recruiting new, quality patients if they have a clear understanding of exactly what makes you different from all the other dentists. You want them to pre-prep your new patients with the information that will raise that new patient’s perception of your skills and quality, and justify the fees that are worthy of your services.

In addition, your patients can become your new patients?! Communicating your main marketing messages to them will raise their own perceptions of your skills, quality and worth. Why? Because, few patients actually understand your skills and quality, and only form judgments through other intangibles.

When a new patient calls in for their first appointment, they will need positive reinforcement that they have made the best choice. We recommend sending a presentation folder with the following information included: doctors’ profile, practice philosophy, services offered, an appointment card, your business card, an introduction letter and other necessary materials. In addition, we suggest that your large treatment plan presentations be packaged in your folder. It’s the right time to remind the patient that you and your practice are the consummate professionals in dental care.
