In 1985, Mark began developing marketing campaigns at Meyer
Marketing Agency where he built a solid reputation in medical marketing - his
clients included general clinics, specialty practices and hospitals.
He has been formally recognized nationally for campaigns as diverse
as Neonatal Intensive Care, Open-Heart Surgery and Level One Trauma.
When Mark left Meyer Marketing in 1991 to start his own marketing
agency, Chuck Maragos of Valley
Dental Arts (VDA) asked Mark to become more involved with the
marketing efforts of some key VDA clients.
Since then, Mark and his team have gone on to develop logos and
web sites that have won seven national awards. Mark’s articles,
lectures and consults with his clients have continually beaten
the same drum - “Never undersell, undervalue or under
present your profession, your talent or your image. Approach marketing
as if you are the most professional, sought after, artistic and
talented individual you know - because, you are.” |
Philosophy Curtis Marketing Group believes that there is no such thing as a "typical" dental
practice or company. Each has different clients, different products and
services, offered by unique individuals in uniquely challenging environments.
We do not believe your marketing should be managed by a firm that presents
the same plan to 1000 dental clients each year or by the local graphic
artist. We are, and will be, neither!
We will continue to be knowledgeable
about materials, techniques, systems,
and other technical elements of the dental industry. In addition, we
will continue to pursue excellence in understanding your clients, understanding
you, and effectively bringing each to the other.
